How does coaching work?
But how does coaching *work*??
If you've never tried it before, it can be easy to undervalue coaching – "You're just talking about the problem. Shouldn't you be spending your time *doing* something? How does it even work??"
Coaching can catalyze life-changing shifts through powerful conversations by:
💡Offering new frameworks and approaches to sticky problems
💡Giving you space to celebrate success and growth (so important!)
💡Connecting you with a broader network of people doing similar work or having similar experiences (one of my favorite things to do for clients!)
💡Helping you notice (and re-direct) success-derailing patterns that are keeping you from your goals
💡Offering a different perspective or interpretation of the situation (especially helpful if you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck)
💡Offering new ideas, resources, and suggestions to help make your wildest ideas come true (my favorite part of coaching!)
💡(Gently!) helping you notice when you're selling yourself short, undervaluing your contributions, or making up excuses to avoid going after your BHAGs (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goals)
How has coaching helped you? What would you share with someone who is skeptical of how it can help?
Life's too short to stay stuck.
