Strengths-based career coaching for social impact professionals.
Wondering if what you need right now is a new job, a new industry, grad school, or just a vacation?
After 16+ years of school, it’s a little bewildering to navigate your 20s and 30s with no roadmap or metric to determine if you’re on the “right” track (whatever that means…) You have a “good” job, but…you feel unfulfilled and wondering whether this is what it will be like for the next 40 years.
You’re wondering if you missed the day where they told you how to find your dream career—the one where you showed up each day feeling energized and excited, instead of counting down the minutes until you get to go home.
You’re thinking about going back to grad school, but for what? It’s expensive, and shouldn’t you have a crystal clear plan for what you want to do afterward? How does anyone ever get confident enough to actually enroll?
Your friends are going through the same thing (the ones who are willing to talk about it, at least), and your parents just don’t understand why you would think that being happy at work is even an option.
I know what it’s like:
to be bored out of my mind at work
To apply for 75 jobs after graduating from a top school (seriously!)
To worry about whether there’s something better, more fulfilling, more aligned for me
To worry about whether I’m actually qualified for what I’m doing, or worried I’m stuck because this is the only thing I know how to do
To have a terrible or absentee manager and limited opportunities for growth
My approach to career coaching offers the space to explore your options, think intentionally about what it is you want to do next, develop a strategy, get some perspective, and find a new opportunity that challenges you while also making space for all of your other priorities.
How it works:
We work in three phases:
Clarify
In this phase, we focus on uncovering your preferences, goals, and priorities. Most importantly, you’ll get clear on what you want from your next step.
Explore
You’ll focus on identifying your options and making a decision you feel confident about.
Pursue
Now that you’re clear on the direction you’re heading, you’ll focus on perfecting your materials (cover letter, resume, LinkedIn profile) and developing your networking strategy so you can find and land a role you love.
This MAY BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU IF:
You’re feeling stuck
You’re feeling overwhelmed by possibilities – you know you have lots of options, but aren’t sure where to start
You’re curious and open to exploration
We may not be a match if:
You already know exactly what you want to do and just want help with resumes or cover letters (We’ll definitely work on your materials together, but my superpower is helping navigate the career discernment process – in other words, helping you figure out what you’re good at and like doing)

We’ll meet for 20-30 minutes. We’ll talk about your work and goals, and you’ll be able to ask me any questions you may have about working together. This is a no-pressure conversation – I’m not into “hard sales” or pressuring folks. I want both of us to have a delightful experience.
If we’re a good match, I’ll send over an agreement outlining our work together. We’ll schedule our first call and I’ll send over some prep activities to start the clarity process right away.
We’ll schedule our kickoff call and I’ll send over some prep activities to make the most of our time together.
We’ll get started – digging in deep so you can get clarity like this:
“I started my sessions with Caroline feeling stuck in my role and uncertain of where my skills could take me. She works from an evidence-based and positive approach, guiding clients to find real examples for strengths and build a powerful narrative. This not only helped me to determine what my next step would be, but also gave me the confidence to get there. “
