Strengths

I've facilitated more than 30 clifton strengths (AKA strengths finder ) interpretations since the start of this year. It's one of my favorite things to do.

If you're not familiar, the CliftonStrengths assessment is a 45-minute online test that generates a report of either your top 5 or all 34 strengths. It's scientifically rigorous and rooted in cutting-edge research from Gallup. I love using CliftonStrengths with clients because it points out the unique contributions only they can make and helps them better pinpoint the value they bring to an organization – their "superpower."

In a Strengths interpretation session, we use a challenge you're currently puzzling through at work as context for a deep exploration of your Clifton Strengths and how they show up for you. We identify real strategies for moving through the logjam by leveraging your Strengths effectively (AKA "Doing more of what you're good at") and, where appropriate, identifying where you might be over-expressing your Strengths.

Clients leave the session feeling a deeper understanding of why they do what they do, context for why certain ways of working might be extra tiring (or deeply engaging!), and fresh ideas for navigating challenging work situations. Clients often email me a few days later sharing a further insight they've had since learning the language of Strengths.

Want this kind of insight into your work to take your leadership to the next level? Let's talk about how Strengths-based leadership coaching can help you move past bottlenecks and deliver on the results you know you're capable of.
