Beat imposter Syndrome: Strategies for Career Confidence
Do you ever feel like you have no idea what you’re doing at work and worry that others are about to find out? Do you chalk up your accomplishments up to luck or being in the right place at the right time? Do you avoid trying something new unless you’re confident you’ll be good at it? Are you hesitant to apply to a new role because you don’t meet all of the requirements?
It’s common for professionals at all stages of their careers--from recent grads to decades in--to struggle with confidence in the workplace. Perhaps you’ve heard of Impostor Syndrome but didn’t realize how many different forms it can take--or that there is anything you can do about it.
Challenges with career confidence disproportionately affect high achievers--especially women, and can have a serious impact on your career trajectory and job satisfaction. But advice like “don’t worry” or “fake it till you make it” just doesn’t resonate with high achievers used to leveraging research and mastering skills to solve problems. In this webinar, we will explore the actual, effective strategies you can use to manage Impostor Syndrome and increase your career confidence.
This session will help you:
Recognize the different types of Imposter Syndrome and how they are showing up in your life and work
Understand where Imposter Syndrome comes from so you can best manage it
Get clear on the impact Imposter Syndrome is having on your life and career
Learn action-oriented strategies you can use to keep Imposter Syndrome in check and grow your confidence in the workplace
